A message from our founder
Vinnie Megna, Inspection Lieutenant, FF/PM
It's common for first responders to have a side hustle to help provide for their family.
Ten years ago, I started Shady Biz Tinting shortly after becoming a paramedic with less than $500 and an unwavering desire to live the American dream. I had a specific vision in mind, and the will to make it a reality.
What I didn't know, is just how big of a positive impact one small idea could eventually have on the community around me.
While Shady Biz Tinting has quickly become a local leader in the tinting industry, it's the “little” things behind the scenes that I am most proud of. The smile on every customer's face when they experience our painless process and see their vehicle for the first time after getting tinted. The mom who is grateful just to protect her family from harmful sun exposure while in the car. The loyal employees who are happy to work for a company that truly cares and takes care of them.
Over the last decade, I've learned that while you're trying to make a buck, you'll often find much more joy in making a difference. When you can combine the two, you never really have to work a day in your life because you've found a recipe for true fulfillment.
We might be in the window tinting industry…but lifting up the local community is at the heart of all that we do.
